for years now, both sides of politics have placed a disincentive for me to earn more than i do working fulltime currently - the opportunity was there but the financial cost (less welfare) and the time cost made it a poor choice. many people with families would find the same.
single people on the other hand, with no responsibilities outside their own, need more opportunities to work for more income, without having disincentives weakening their financial position.
oh no ive admitted i get welfare again - im in trouble now !!!
