HI all - as if I didn't have enough to do already . . . . slice of my life:

I have just talked to my first A1 ever - well they are not as intelligent as they are made out to be.

Have gay friend in Austria - long-time friend, never realised he was gay, but with my handsome husband around I should have known, although hubby had no inclinations that way . . . . anyway we stayed friends and he is good value, when I visit Vienna, because he is up on all the theatrical and musical events and great to talk to, although a little deliberate and slow in his speech - also speaks English - very kind man!

Anyway: I wanted to treat him - he had his new flat done out in modern style - has a fixation on octopussies (obviously monopussies are not his 'thang'), so now has black-and-white lighting system arranged on his bedroom wall in a somewhat jumbled fashion, supposedly octopi-fashion, then he ordered a green ceramic light in the shape of an octopus, was disappointed with the result (it cost a fair bit of dosh) - so I remembered a wonderful designer called 'Caffe Fassett' who - in my handicraft days was my shining light and he produces wonderful designs.

and found a quirky octopus patterns etc. - bought the material (from a place in South Australia: - and am making 2 cushion covers (40cmX58cm)

But I want to make it easy for my friend and tried to order the interior cushion from IKEA, Vienna - and got talking to said 'Bot' - great fun but no result, in the end the bot finished up advising me to ring a certain phone number and speak to an IKEA representative and named him, too - a real human, obviously. I have given up, but will pass info on to my friend.
