The results will either be brilliant, or they will be an epic failure, or they will be somewhere in between.

You are right - a coin toss. However, I don't think the delay are pointing to a better outcome - that i my humble opinion only.

Historical performance is good but no guarantee that the results will be as good this time around. This is right across the biotech sector.

I do worry that MM is trying the trick she played last time with getting funding before the cash runs out - that did not go well last time.

Anyone dreaming that there will be a TO by a BP or that Bill Gates will give BIT $100 mil on phase two results with a relatively small cohort is in cloud cuckoo land. Dreaming is healthy but rarely becomes reality.

BIT needs excellent results to underpin phase 3 trials - which, hopefully, they will get some sort of partnership to fund that trial - it will require a larger cohort.

BIT will need a CR to get them through the next 12 months - the phase 3 trial funding does not cover operational costs. Good results will lift the SP and give BIT a pretty good target figure for any CR.

Sorry guys, that is reality.
