the problem is - no matter if government were pure or not - run by what you call overlords or not -
the problem now is that no one knows where we are headed --------- when one gets visionaries (whether we think he's a nut or not - he is visionary) like Musk saying that - when the fully functional humanoid or similar robot comes - he's not even sure if we can say that we will have an economy
now - when we get that - and it's only a few years away - because it's only one thing - there are thousands coming -
then, we are in wild swing territory
wealthy people don't understand that their wealth comes from the masses - it doesn't just imagine up for them like magic
business doesn't understand that they need customers and their customers are their employees ------ if the cut their employees to zip or their income to zip ---------- poooof -------- no customers
the changes now that we will have - will leave what you and I have seen in the dust - and IMO - these changes are mere years away - some - might even be months away
