How many ships Putin sank is irrelevant because Ukraine and her international shipping partners didn't risk having any ships sunk while Putin blockaded sea exports and then Ukraine sank about 20% of Putin's limp Black Sea fleet, including the flagship Moskva, to break Putin's blockade and resume exports by sea.

The amount that could be exported via land was much less than what was possible by sea so no overland exports were not a long term option.

So desperate to try to downplay how big of a victory it is for Ukraine destroying 20% of Putin's limp Balck Sea fleet, of which most of the ships sunk were critical capitol ships including the flagship Moskva, forcing a retreat, breaking the blockade, resuming sea exports and gaining muvh needed revenues.

Absolute massive vitory for Ukraine and even bigger humiliation for Putin.
