Intrinsic to the purpose of the superannuation change was the lack of indexation. If you index that change the demography of the country leaves relatively fewer workers paying tax to support an ageing population. No one actually gets screwed without indexation. The dollar sum tax take will be a function of the level of government spending over time...whether the tax scales are indexed or not.
