But it does make a difference on the buy side. Less SOI makes it so much harder buying a sizeable parcel without pushing the SP through the roof. 50M SOI is more for the size of a larger private coy, or a public coy that has just IPO'd (and even that would be unusual), not a public coy looking for larger investors.
Margin lenders won't touch it, and I dare say larger institutional investors won't be interested either, unless they can get a sizeable chunk, like Piramal just did.
Which is why it was so important for the majority of the last lot of options to be exercised.
