I was just applying the stuff I learned in economics. I wasn't making a judgement ..... yet.
But for your general knowledge it's a well heeled argument that increased consumer demand and spend usually results in suppliers increasing their margins which fuels inflation.
An investor expects his shareholding to increase in value and/or dividend and the suppliers are under pressure to deliver that .... well they were until they decided to play sheriff of the social conscience with shareholders money.
