Quick easy way to stop the Shorting Rorts (or a least to shine a light on the games being played by the BEOT) is to require the willing lenders (including our Australian Super Funds) to report (on a timely basis) details of the number of shares lent to these parasites.
Takes both the lenders and borrowers to play this game and such duel disclosures would fall into the ASX's main objective of maintaining a Fair, Orderly and Transparent Market.
