HAHA
its chicken little telling us all its gloom and doom and the sky is falling. LOL
those who sell now are crystalising their losses at record lows loosing massive wealth in fear of a lower price from a CR or death by VA.
Looks like not many have done this out of 3,800M shares not even 6% have taken this option last 10 days. Yes death is coming for all of us, but not today nor in the next few years for POS imho
Lets examine logically the prospects-
POS has been there before & survived easily
POS has NO DEBT NO OFFTAKE NO JUNKBONDS
POS has had an annual CR for the last 13 years straight and many oversubscribed at WAY HIGHER SP than this, even 18.0c in 2015 & 11.0c in Dec 2021 for example.
Many of those CR buyers still hold POS scrip.
Most POS LTHs (around 75% on my maths posted before) got in at around 9.0 -11.0c VWAP so why sell or not take more CR at 0.8c to average down?!
POS is the only Ni near term restart producer left on ASX after WSA MCR PAN Wyloo FF/Cosmos (IGO) Ravensthorpe all gone & shuttered.
IGO (Nova) MM (Glencore) have not shuttered and like in 2015 Ni winter carry on as before.
CJ as new CEO will tarnish his career irreparably if he cant survive POS here
PH as prior CEO and now chairman cannot allow this to be a failure as his beloved PAN is now worthless
nor can Padley as his reputation burns on this one stock portfolio
Neither can BMM who has not sold any for 2 years now and holds worthless assets in Oz.
Do you think BMM valued at $200B would walk away from its $35M cash investment here?
BMM bought dog Lanfranchi from PAN for $15M cash in 2018 & that had NO MILL
Im sure they are angling at LJ once again right now for peanuts but the BOD didnt sell LJ to them several times before at higher prices so why would they now?
As for AFAF his failure is there for all to see and his backstab here will long be remembered yet even he might realise his error with $1,200M cash burnt on MCR Noront black holes and return to his ole chair & prodigy survivor POS for redemption.
There is NO OTHER SHOW IN TOWN left.
There are no other options
If all those CR investors were putting in $20M cash at 11.0c, 5.0c and 3.5c why wouldnt they at 0.8c?!
POS dont need $20M, a paltry $3M here and there every year is good enough and POS can and has done that blindfolded with way worse position before.
POS survived at NP of 3.50, now its 7.37
POS survived with $2M cash at bank 2011-2014
POS bid for Raventhorpe in 2009 for $300M with only $3M cash at bank.
POS had debt of $25M from AFAF in 2015 and paid it ALL back
POS had junkbond debt of $30M from Jefferies/BMM and paid it ALL back
POS has spent $140M capex last 12 years on renovating and preparing these 3 projects.
POS still has NO DEBT
POS has no offtake signed which it could breach unlike PAN MCR Wyloo BHP IGO (at FF/cosmos)
POS has NOT breached any offtake terms as it has none, the 2 offer contracts and $62M debt offering were NOT signed and taken up
POS only creditors are staff and directors, these can be switched to shares.
POS has no secured creditors nor any trade creditors owed anything.
The death card is not in the pack sorry to tell you naysayers imho.
Fear is not an investing strategy but an emotional reaction.
Fear of death & destruction is illogical and negative
So I expect business as usual with POS, some news, a deal with GMD BMM Wyloo again & a cheap CR oversubscribed yet again with a new Top 2 major holder coming onboard dirt cheap here.
POS has survived again in spite of your wicked peer abuse & financial folly and the big boys who ignored POS burning $14,000M cash on total black hole folly will have no option but to consider -
the cheapskate, low capex, nimble, debt free, asset rich, MILL RICH, last man standing, POS.
