Rome wasn't built in a day, Major Tom. And, the idea that any company can produce, well anything (with the exception of AI, perhaps), without a highly skilled, technical workforce that are loyal and incentivised to remain with the company long-term is ludicrous! Why would a scientific technical services company attract talent, train them only to have them leave 6 months later....Repeat...Repeat...It's bad for business, and puts the company on the back foot. Attract good people, pay them well, create a culture whereby staff want to stay, and incentivise that with a stake in the company, sounds like a place I'd like to work in if I could have my time over again. Oh hang on, those graphite manufacturers in China sound far better places to work (NOT!).
