Not sure how any of your 4 points balances anything out?
what, if any of those points changes the inevitability of CAIs situation?
As for the comment on timing of release of the quarterly “At least they did it before close”.
This is a coward move knowing full well most of the country knocked off work by lunchtime Thursday and slipped it out then to hide the bad news that you guys keep saying “we already knew so what’s the big deal”.
The difference in releasing it before market close and after market close is very obvious to those “hiding” bad news.
If released after Market close Thursday, at pre-open markets Monday, the release will still be flagged as a new release so that those that missed it on Thursday will clearly see it.
If released sneakily during the last hour or so of trade, those that missed it (because who releases price sensitive information late in the afternoon before a long weekend), it won’t be flagged as a new release Monday morning.
Nonetheless, it’s a cowboy move and one that is viewed very dimly on by the wider investment community.
Those that missed it, and with that, the opportunity to trade their stock during the small window after the information was released, will smack them very hard come Monday.
The news they were trying to “slip under the door” by being cute, will be more scrutinised come Monday because of the underhanded tactics - oh the irony.
As for your last point of being the first to tell everyone in the event of bad news, mate, I’ve been trying to tell you now for months - it’s like a bloody freight train between the eyes - if only you would open them.
