Never has a legal document been pulled apart needlessly. This has been explained previously. Some things are legally required to be said and must be in the document. There are two votes to occur, (1) to extend the guillotine date by 6 months and (2) to vote on the merger itself. The first is prudence and a very wise action. The second culminates the deal. Both of these votes have enough votes to ensure passage. This has been stated before. The founders parties have sufficient votes to carry the proposal and have stated how they are going to vote. The founders will lose a motza if the deal does not proceed.

By law the course of action, if sufficient votes are not garnered, must be stated. This cannot be ignored because the votes cannot be counted until the vote occurs. If insufficient votes occurs then more time will be required. However, if insufficient votes are present for the extension, the guillotine date will occur before an adjournment can occur making the exercise moot. And our discussion about insufficient votes is moot.

The votes will be positive. the merger will go ahead and some breathing time will be given. The delays, firstly one week followed by a second week are to ensure the positive vote occurs because you will find that the deal has been enhanced and this enhancement required a little more time.
