Couldn't agree more. If every shareholder (those eligible to vote governments in or out) stepped up to the plate and signed petitions against these shenanigans such as Ben Pauley's, the weight of votes would surely compel our elected members to jump on the bandwagon and sort it out. For purely noble reasons of course, such as the good of all Australian citizens.
Some institutions wouldn't like it of course, but stiff! I believe in fairness, a level playing field and ethical behaviour in the share market.
