That massive blowout over the next decade needs to be changed. I suspect even the LNP would not accept that level of blowout unless they raise the GST to cover it. That would be dynamite..............hitting the 80% to continue pleasing 20%.

In any case I linked a report earlier today that indicates it has a slight majority of support even amongst coalition.

If elected, the Labor Party plans to limit negative gearing to new housing and halve the capital gains discount from 2020. The changes would not apply to any investments made before that date.
