As expected, all the hedge funds piled in for a quick few % return. Grabbed a few myself actually, much better interest than NAB were offering for similar duration at the time ;-)

A real pity that none of our big industry or "Future" investment funds saw a chance to really turn this into an Australian superpower, particularly the global Blueberries business. Easier to just invest in crap apartment blocks, probably.
