Limiting the number of investment properties you could claim NG losses on would be a very 'ALP policy'.
Don't penalise 'hard working battlers' trying to get ahead but do penalise 'rich landlords' with multiple investment properties.
A simple analysis of demographics & investment property ownership would identify the likely current & target ALP voters & how many properties they own.
There was an analysis NG tax savings by postcode circulating a while ago & the biggest beneficiaries by far were traditional LNP seats in inner city areas.
