You don't disclose your professional background in your member profile and I have no way of knowing the extent of your knowledge of JORC. I see the issue as being less about having more knowledge and more about knowing the constraints that JORC quite properly imposes.

The "competent person" must be satisfied that estimates of grades between sampling points are justified. With a variable, nuggety resource this process becomes very difficult. Possibly the best way to test the resource is by actually mining and treating substantial bulk samples, thereby obtaining more valid average grades. The large diameter diamond drilling program the company is currently implementing can be expected to go some way towards addressing this problem.
