Cbr, I see your point, and I still agree.
Qantas has never, and I mean never been an investment stock (buy and hold). It is a shocking dividend play and swings more negatively on bad news than good news. But, it usually rebounds quickly, which is where the opportunities lie.
I used to trade mining and some biotech stocks years ago, and I have made more profit on Qantas than all of them combined.
It'll hit $6 - 6.50 range until the next saga, which means I'll pull the handle and spin the wheel for another bonus round.
