You may have promised to take the bins out and not done it and been ok, but if you promised you wouldnt root the girl next door and then did it maybe a different story
Guess you might call them core and non core promises
If you sit in front of a jury/judge and lie from there on in you cant be trusted.
especially if you told the lie 100 times and did it publicly whilst telling everyone else you're a person of integrity
