The fact of the matter its large mining entities like BHP etc and share holders that spend billions of dollars to find in the first place these resources, without investors and the likes of BHP the crown and bludgers of australia would have nothing to tax, they would be leaching onto some other group that has put their hard earned coin on the line. I would love for the mining industry to just simply stop, stop producing the goods that have powered our economy, leave it in the ground and let prices go to the moon and have no income. TRILLIONS of PRIVATE dollars have been invested to get australia where it is today, incase the greens and labour have forgotten it was the resource boom that fed so many that dont work
