"it should have read ‘converts methane’" was their admission of error in their response to my query.
The Hazer process at the CDP uses biogas (not natural gas) and converts methane into hydrogen and graphite. They know this so to say otherwise was misleading. "a minor human/wording error", nevertheless confusing.
