Morning all. We are going racing tonight. Ruby is a genuine chance to break her maiden status tonight. The favourite is from one of Brisbane’s leading stables and night end up being too good for her. However, she’s come through that enormous run last start perfectly, she’s worked great, only negative, Nathan T had prior commitments up in Bowen today, so couldn’t take the ride. He’s not happy, but a commitment is just that. Chris M will steer. Down to a field of 7, so hopefully it gives her a win and Brendan’s first Sunshine Coast success. Plan is go forward, lead if it’s there, otherwise lob 1 back, but plans don’t always come together. Sid in the last. He’ll go forward too. Chris M steering him around as well. Never placed on home soil has the big dumb unit, but maybe tonight’s the night. He looks great, working well, but I guess it’s what in his head at the time. Toff tomorrow, Willo back on, drawn better but not great. Needs to be closer in the run. Last start, only the winner recorded a faster last 600 than Toff. Form is better than it looks and $17 will get me in for a bet each way.
