However acquires GOR would need to rewrite the agreement with Gold Fields.
UNLESS............the acquirer was Gold Fields themselves. GFA already have a number of 100% owned mines in production. Gruyere and a significant stake in DEG is very possible IMO. GFA could extend the 20% stake in DEG by being a lead builder of the Hemi mine. The DEG management team need to find a company that has a history of bringing a minesite into production. GFA fits that.
