Dfs & Nolan - I agree with both of you. I need more data.
Wrt second hand cars I suspect an issue could be that the average punter would not have any way of working out the status of the battery. Whilst the body might look good, will the battery require an expensive replacement soon? Who would one trust to make an assessment?
