Most estimates I’ve seen are predicting a 20 percent increase in EV sales this year , over last years numbers . So it stands to reason that more lithium will be required . If the Chinese have nearly diminished their stockpiles , they have to buy more Lithium ? Where is the extra 20 percent coming from and what about increasing numbers of grid storage batteries ? As I said , we will find out pretty soon just what the truth is . If the Chinese are forced to buy more battery grade Lithium , the price could jump back to a reasonable level very quickly .
