Yeh true but what about a boat shipping oil for refinery into petroleum across the ocean (not required with EVs). Whats the cost to both the insurance company and the planet when one of those things leak out. I know we will need oil for other applications but it will be significantly less on a full EV transportation system. What are the costs from accidents caused by petroleum on wet roads that would be far less likely under EV adoption? There are always arguments for both cases.
