I am a property investor, yes. Over the years we have built 4 new properties. We have used NG, otherwise it would never have been feasible.
I disagree with you, the government have a responsibility to provide social housing. They rarely do as it is an expensive exercise to build and the carrying costs are very high. That is the reason why they need to give incentives to private investors, its quite simple.
They prefer to waste money on pointless rubbish like The Voice etc.
Ban negative gearing on shares eh, this would not affect me, but again investors will flee so where are all the businesses supposed to get the capital to grow.
