Hi Cuixot - great post - thank you. Some time ago I tried to do a calculation about the viability of a servo in the middle of the Simpson desert if it has to recharge 250 EVs a day ( that is how many cars cross it each day). I do not know what is required - as I am no expert in the subject - I only calculated the cost of a solar farm and batteries to supply the cars. Obviously other stuff is needed - inverters, whatever - of which I have no idea. At least I would assume that a recharge time of 1 hr might be acceptable, as people would need a rest after driving 300-400km. So don't need ultrafast chargers.
My calcs show a great return - over 100% pa, though remember I have not included other infrastructure costs.
Am I miles out in the calcs? Cheers
