It's a gamble. The 850 share number is something that they plucked out the air. There was no way of knowing in advance what the number would be. They never declared this number in the SPP booklet. It is a number that they probably chose behind closed doors in a boardroom after seeing what applications came in. If they chose 750 then you would be happy and if they chose 950 or 850 you are sad.

So don't be sad about it, because the number that was chosen was out of your control. You played the lotto and your numbers didn't come up. Such is life.
