I wasn’t being litteral when I said a weight on a string. I was over simplifying a wire line logging device. They must lower this into the hole and log at different depths. If the device reaches TD then there can’t be an obstruction in the hole. They are saying no pressure and no flow, not just at the wellhead but in the logs. I dunno, maybe their big vacuum will change this but it is not a great sign for a production well and even BNL called it anomalous. All I’m really saying is I dont think it’s an obstruction. I’m also suspicious of the fact we’ve never been told of any pressure or flow test results. Perhaps the helium is there in high concentrations but very low pressure, possibly making it uneconomic to retrieve. I have mentioned before the unorthodox approach that’s been taken to proving up the resource and I can’t figure out why, but Occam’s razor and something about walking and quacking like a duck keeps me up at night.
