Still doesn't excuse the fact that BMW's are thoroughly fugly, and not getting any better.
They did a Hydrogen experiment with 200 cars in 1986, at that time, ICE's converted for hydrogen use, but they never left Berlin.
The first tank rupture will be spectacular.
