And there was I thinking that they had forgotten that today was Tuesday, which means announcement day!

They could have easily written:
"Everything is going according to plan so far. We'll let you know how the full story in 3-4 weeks."

If the drill continues to be smooth and the oil flows at the end the story will be a brief but good one.
