Evergrande was in a hk court and there's currently debate surrounding mainland enforcement. Who knows what the government in the mainland will do. Much more complex discussion surrounding this tbh

Of course there will be a raise but I question if it will be at a lower price. Management has indicated that cash (options aside) will last until some drilling has commenced and if the drilling strikes it big it's anyone's guess. If the drilling goes good, options might get exercised, extending drilling and creating a feedback loop. Or it might go the other way as you say, we honestly don't know at this stage.
