One other point I would like to make re Vugs - The same Garibaldi that was responsible for the deposit in Greater Hillgrove found an enormous calcite vug around the Lionsville Goldfield, which contained many many tonnes of optic grade crystal. The records aren't 100% as it was around the turn of the 20th century but reports suggest 800-1200t of optic crystal mined. Lionsville is known for vug-hosted minor gold mineralisation and more information can be seen in the Grafton-Maclean Metallogenic Map and Study notes also from NSW Geoscience.
I agree with Wack that if LRVs reports come back with mention of interpreted vugs, its worth taking note of.
