So to sum up - ADO doesn't need to market to the public as they are a market to market biz.
But they do need to market to the public as they are a public biz that has needed, and may yet need again, to raise funds from the public. And the greater the share price, the cheaper and easier it will be for a public biz (if the public know who the hell they are and what they are selling). It all sounds a wee bit more public service than free enterprise. Yes Minister!
