The way things work in China is that annual plans are made and then activated after a Chinese New Year … which means there has been a drawdown of stockpiles etc.
The start of a New Year will trigger the commencement of some new buying in commodities generally
Was interested to read that the other Chinese lithium indicators/prices may have been up last night? (I don’t know where to check that).
