extract resources drilled during the height of the GFC and announced discovery jan 2008
takeover from China was announced mid 2011 and finalised early 2012. The amount was Au $2.2 billion. This was also at a time after the Fukushima earthquake disaster so uranium was in a bear market.
a takeover for such an asset in 2024-2026 would probably be $4 billion . Extract was also in a stable African country but we all know that Africa can change in a heartbeat.
Luni is about one year into discovery. Not yet a unicorn. Both Luni and extract resources are high grade discoveries, albeit different commodities.
