Even China is secretly worried about Russia. Russia is encroaching on their political territory with their recently military agreements with NK. China has recently updated maps to indicate parts of Russia are in fact Chinese and has given these Chinese names. Russian and China are not friends, they're frenemies. Their only thing in common is their disdain for the U.S.
Russia has superseded China is the pressing threat, in my opinion.
