Is the WDS/STO merger a plan to becoming one of the big boys? Well, it is no longer. But there could be a plan B. Probably cheaper way, that is find a new oil field with a few billion
barrels of oil!
Would that be enough to hurry them up and book those rigs? I think WDS is already
unofficially "in" (I think most on HC is of that opinion); if they are "not in", PCL would
have no trouble getting another partner, probably with a better deal the way things are going.
