Senior representatives of Alcoa Inc (USA) would visit Alreco's site early next month.

There is immense potential for the company because in the U.S. they produce 40 times the volume of this material than they do in Australia.

An Alcoa landfill site containing 160,000 tonnes of salt slag at Moolap was likely to be dug up and put through Alreco's process.
Alreco had the Sims site at Moolap last January and had about a dozen emplyees, he said.
