Ann: Update - Notification of buy-back - HUM, page-3

Would have liked to see them go much harder earlier on but it's good that it seems to have ramped up recently.

I think there could have been a good argument made for them to buy everything anyone would sell them while the price was under around 50c, especially as they issued shares at well over a dollar not that long ago.

Better now than never though, If the price stays markedly below the previous share issue price I would not mind seeing the buyback extended rather than any possible dividend increase or even funded by a temporary dividend reduction. At current prices and given the large number of shares on issue I think for the moment buybacks present better shareholder value than dividends and should lead to much better EPS and as such improved dividends in the not too distant future.
