Mr Fels conducted a high-level single-handed report that espoused his 1990 views of the world. He should have been put on pasture years ago and this was an opportunity for him to push his resume to achieve another high paying consulting gig. Over time he has delivered squat except negative crap. FYI the farmers were not squealing when a cow was $1Million.
Maybe Qatar was a poor call, but in the big scheme of things a very minor impact on the Australian aviation sector. The big issue is the financials of the other local players. Maybe an opportunity for QAN. Maybe your Qantas embargo may see you taking the train to Sydney. They have Wifi now so you can still post your insights.
This is an investment site and suggest you have a look at QAN financials. Whilst the board pushed $400M to improve customer service etc, demand has been great. The difficulty for Hudson is trying to disguise how much money they are making now and into the future. Longer term the big risk is access to new fleet. Boeing issues will not help as their production volumes may be cut due to increased QC.
