That is part of the reason people have lost 80% of their investment. Being overly focused on potential and distracted from reality (price and market sentiment).
I won't say its been deliberate by some ramping the stock, because people can make up their own mind regarding vested interests by those who bought at the top and are now sitting on a sizable loss.
