the norm in my day as a teen wasn't the same as the cultural norm in other places the same year. west of Bris has its own culture and norms. yet this is what these kids grew up in.

we don't know the grand sum of influences they've had but they've grown up in that culture.

I don't say this to justify violence or this particular incident. but we don't know the effects on individuals either.
