My understanding is that the massive volume yesterday was *not* a surprise. Gimo alluded to the likely volumes the previous day and so, even whilst the rationale is not known to me, I don't believe this was a cause for concern. More related to closing short positions than SE results.
in saying that, it's a curious coincidence. Let's just hope it's not a duster.
