If we look at the current share price, we don’t need ‘Friendly’ or anyone else to spook the share price. That ‘train left the station’ a long time ago. My observation is that the share price of any stock that has a significant legal / litigation issue will be sold down repeatedly until the litigation is resolved and settlements agreed and paid. And of course, no further avenues for appeal. Just look back at RFG Retail Food Group as just one of many examples. I hate to say it as I am in deeper than I would have likes with PPK and LIS, but my thinking is this thing may take longer than many expect. What ever settlement is, if it is a Judge decision, if the amount is perceived to be to unfair to one side or the other, there may be potential for an appeal of that decision. So PPK is in a sort of ‘LimboLand’ for at least a few months more.
