Is employing ex BBIG (or ex Todd) employees part of a conspiracy or just good business?

An employer (BBIG) terminates a JV Agreement with RHK. The staff working on the JV Project are then likely no longer required. Those employees most likely have little choice other than to look for new employment. Would those employees look to companies that have vacancies where their skills and experience fit well? Doesn’t that make sense? Because the JV has been terminated wouldn’t it make sense for the party intent on progressing a project to get their IO to market to take on any suitable candidates provided they are the best choice from the applicants? Isn’t that just good business?

Of course, if someone has any evidence that RHK were coerced into taking on those employees they should provide evidence. Failing that it will remain just another unfounded myth and conspiracy.
