    NRMA is the same in NSW, but of course it's been owned by one of the largest general insurers in the country for a long time now, no longer independent.
    But certainly premiums have climbed substantially in the last couple of years.
    On the other hand look at the natural disasters nearly the whole country has had in that time. The money to pay for that damage has to come from policyholders

    I had a bit of storm damage a bit over a year ago. They would give me the estimated cost to repair but wouldn't supply the tradesman. They knew it would take about 12 months to get one. Still their payout was pretty spot on with the cost.

    It would be nice to turn the price dial back a couple of years but it ain't going to happen.
