All good mate. Over the next few months coal prices across the board should soften, but trying to predict commodity prices is virtually impossible. NEWC is just about at the bottom now, if it drops too much more then production should come out of the market causing prices to rise back up. Met coal will likely soften in coming months to below US$300/t, but again things can change. YAL sells a lot of API5 which is fetching good prices atm, which is helping them do well. Have a good read of their recent Q4 report, there’s a lot of info around coal prices there too mate. June / July is time to back the truck up on YAL!!
